Welcome to the Rheinmetall procurement portal.
Not only our communication behavior, but also collaboration has changed significantly in recent years. Processes carried out manually are supported by automatisms and a large number of business processes are carried out digitally with the help of IT tools.
Rheinmetall has therefore decided to introduce a group-wide procurement portal in order to be able to work together with its existing and future business partners in a future-proof manner. By using a group-wide procurement tool, not only purchasing processes can be optimized and standardized, but transparency can also be achieved with regard to our business processes and products. In this way, we can work with you to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the long run.
The procurement portal is considered the primary application in the exchange and collaboration between our buyers and suppliers and initially offers the following applications in the “Source to Contract†process section:
1. Supplier management
(among others: supplier master data exchange, supplier self-registration process)
2. Sourcing
(among others: request for quotations & benchmarking, contract award)
3. Contract management
(e.g. digital archiving and negotiation of contracts)
